Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak has appointed Rebecca Tillman as executive chef at the all-suite resort.
With an approach to food that is simple, back-to-basics and focused on local seasonal ingredients, Tillman will oversee culinary operations for the resort and its dining outlets, including Rico’s American Grill and the historic BBQ smokehouse, Hole-In-The-Wall. In her new position as executive chef at the resort, Tillman has also become the only female executive chef at a Phoenix resort.
An Arizona native who was born and raised in Phoenix, Tillman brings 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including positions at the Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa; Destination Kholer–The American Club in Kholer, Wis.; and The Inn on Biltmore Estate and The Biltmore Estate in Asheville, N.C.
Tillman is a graduate of the School of Culinary Arts at The Art Institute of Phoenix.
