Learn more about Navajo Codetalkers

Laura Tohe, professor of Indigenous Literature at ASU, brings to life the Navajo Codetalkers of World War II during a free program 2-3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3 at the Saguaro Branch Library, 2808 N. 46th St. See how these brave men devised and used their unbreakable code, and how Navajo spiritual beliefs helped them heal from the horrors of war.
